Yoga Options

I am passionate about teaching yoga as a way to manage anxiety & stress, and nurturing all levels of students as I know what a wonderful impact a kind and understanding teacher can have. As a teacher you have the power to help transform and give students the tools to build their own yoga journey.  You can expect my classes to be a mix of playful sequencing with mindful movement. I teach both Vinyasa and Yin styles of yoga.

Yin Yoga

For my Yin classes, I love to incorporate Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on targeting various meridian lines in the body, working to release blockages and bring the body into harmony. In Yin Yoga we typically hold poses for 3-7 minutes to work deep into our connective tissue & fascia to release tension and blockages in the body. We use lots of props, blankets and bolsters in Yin so expect to get cosy as we slow down our parasympathetic nervous system and calm the mind.

Yinyasa Flow

We link breath with movement, in this dynamic flow, moving fast before we slow it all down. For my Vinyasa classes, expect playful sequencing encouraging students to focus on the breath in a mindful way whilst having fun and not taking ourselves too seriously. We aim to flow through postures in a moving meditation, and end the class with a much deserved Savasana (resting) pose.

Private Classes

Are you curious about the benefits of private yoga lessons or want to know about arranging a group class for friends or your workplace? Alongside my public schedule, I have some availability for 1:1 classes and corporate workplace classes in London.

Private classes allow you to fit yoga into your life at a time that suits you best. Having a private class gives you the freedom to focus on areas of your practice that you want to develop. You get individual attention that you don’t always get in larger class settings and the practice is built around your own needs. This can range from reducing anxiety, building strength, increasing your flexibility or working on more specific postures such as inversions or backbends.
