Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new adventure for me. I start my yoga teacher training and am so bloody excited (and nervous!).
Today I have been taking time to do some things I love to calm and focus the mind. I had a beautiful lunch at Wild Food Cafe and was so touched by how warm and lovely the people in there are. I hadn't been in a few weeks and was greeted with 'hellos' and even hugs! I genuinely didn't even think I'd be remembered in the sea of faces that go there all the time. Was so lovely!
I brought The Power of Now with me to highlight (a book on my YTT reading list) as I ate and looked down to see a little white feather beside it, said to symbolise faith and protection.
I know I'm slightly nervous about something when I busy myself around the house - I came home and tidied my room from top to toe, changed my sheets and cooked a massive curry to last me for the week/year. The training is 9-7 Sun-Sat so I figure I'll get home by 8.30pm ish and having food already made will make life easier. Otherwise I would probably be so hungry that I'd eat a packet of crackers and dates for dinner.
Currently in my room with candles lit, drinking a cup of liquorice tea, hoping to have a good nights sleep but feel like I am 8 years old waiting for Santa!
Will write a post about choosing a YTT course soon and keep you updated on my journey too!
